Now on Display: The Caldecott Medal

Our Caldecott Medal display includes information about Randolph Caldecott, one of the first illustrators of children's books. The exhibit features 4 rare books from Northwestern's Archives that include Caldecott's detailed and whimsical illustrations. The display also explains the history of The Caldecott Medal, a prestigious award given by the American Library Association for "the most distinguished American picture book for children."
