National History Day

DeWitt Library works with area students preparing their National History Day projects. Typically, the school's National History Day coordinator contacts us to set up a time to bring students to campus; we use the first part of our session to show students our extensive resources, then we allow them significant time to access materials helpful for their research. Teachers, to set up a time for your students to visit, please contact us.

In 2020, DeWitt Library was honored to be recognized by the state of Iowa's National History Day organization as the Library of the Year for the help we provide to area students.
