Today's Staff Pick!

Today’s staff pick is from Sherri Langton!

This Tender Land by William Kent Krueger follows the adventures of 4 orphans who flee from a government-sponsored Native American boarding school in Minnesota during the Great Depression. They travel down the Minnesota River by canoe in hopes of reaching long-lost family in St. Louis. During the journey, they meet many people and encounter many trials which leave them seeking answers about God, family, and what it means to be “home.” I rarely have the patience for a 500-page book, but this one kept me coming back!
