Fred Manfred: The Spirit of Siouxland

DeWitt Library collaborated with Dr. Keith Fynaardt, professor of English at Northwestern, to create a display on area author Fred Manfred (1912-1994). Born in nearby Doon, Iowa, Manfred authored more than two dozen books, nearly all novels, about the history and culture of his beloved Siouxland.
Located near the south entrance.
