While libraries traditionally collect and store publications useful to their patrons, today libraries also create their own journals. DeWitt Library produces the Northwestern Review, a journal featuring the wide-ranging research of our faculty.
Other offices on campus create publications as well, including the student-run newspaper The Beacon and the alumni magazine The Classic. The English Department annually prints Spectrum, a literary magazine featuring the work of Northwestern students. And for many years, the college published a yearbook, most of which are now available in our digital archives.
